The Angel Inn

                                                  The Angel Inn, Yarwell

The Angel Inn in the village of Yarwell is a 17th century inn, built in c1673.

Diane and Nick the owners and true Yarwellians, run the pub and advertise it as being  ‘The way good pubs used to be’.
It’s like stepping back in time and possibly one or two of the regulars could well have!

It’s quaint, it’s quirky and it is very very friendly. A warm welcome awaits.

With good beer and guest ales and naturally a comprehensive range of wines and spirits.
Food is also available and all served with Sherrils’ superb chips, though Nick doesn’t do a bad job when Sherril is off duty!
The menu is as quirky as the pub and in itself makes good reading.
As the kitchen is rather small they cannot cope with large parties. A maximum of 6 as long as your not in a hurry.

Please note tables can not be booked.
They don’t claim to be a restaurant and will gladly point you in the direction of the Black Horse or Queens Head in Nassington or the Paper Mills In Wansford.

There is a Dart Board and they have inter pub challenges or challenge your fellow drinkers.
A pool table, cards and various other pub games are available or just sit and enjoy a pint and a chat.

The pub is dog friendly so you are welcome to bring your pooch.
Children are tolerated however it is a pub for adults so please do not let them run around.

There is a large garden, ideal for in the summer where you can enjoy a pint or a G and T in the sunshine.

Music nights, quiz nights and karaoke nights take care of Fridays and the weekends.

Please note it isn’t open at all on Mondays or Tuesday lunchtime!

Your more than welcome to buy me a pint if you see me propping up the bar!
